CITY COUNCIL

The City Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 2 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The council will consider approving finalists with whom to negotiate the development of 68 acres at Alameda Point. The council will also consider adopting a community facilities district and approving special taxes for property owners in the to-be-built Marina Cove II neighborhood, also known as Marina Shores. The council will also consider awarding a $4.6 million contract to Ranger Pipeline for sewer rehabilitation and accepting a federal grant of $80,954 to support fire safety education and outreach, including an inspector and smoke alarms. The council will also consider approving an Alameda Point lease for Love Fellowship Church of God in Christ and amendments for Walashek Industrial & Marine, Pacific Fine Foods, Kai Concepts LLC, Delphi Productions, and Natel Energy. The council will also receive an informational report on a conceptual design for Estuary Park.

HISTORICAL ADVISORY BOARD

The Historical Advisory Board meets at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 4 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The board will consider a Certificate of Approval to permit City Ventures to partially demolish a warehouse and boiler house at 1835 Oak Street to build 47 multifamily residential units and up to 9,521 square feet of commercial space. The board will also conduct board officer elections.
