ALAMEDA POINT DEVELOPER OPEN HOUSE

The city will conduct an Alameda Point Developer Open House from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, September 29 at the Main Library, 1550 Oak Street.

On the agenda: Representatives of a quartet of developers selected as finalists to build on a pair of sites at Alameda Point will be on hand to display their qualifications and take questions from the public.

SOCIAL SERVICE HUMAN RELATIONS BOARD

The Social Service Human Relations Board meets at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 2 in Conference Room 360 on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The board will discuss its role in the upcoming 2015-16 Community Development Block Grant public service funding process and receive a report on a homeless count conducted on September 24. The board will also receive a report on the city’s first Community Service Awards and discuss awarding them annually and will consider supporting a mural project designed by Alameda High School student Clare Rickard.
