OPEN GOVERNMENT COMMISSION

The Open Government Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, February 3 has been canceled due to lack of quorum.

CITY COUNCIL

The City Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 4 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The council is set to approve a list of planning documents for Alameda Point that includes a final environmental impact report, master infrastructure plan, zoning and general plan amendments. The council will also hold and election and certify results for a community facilities district that will allow the city to levy additional taxes on Alameda Landing home and business owners to pay for public safety and maintenance. The council will also offer final approvals on a lease for Proximo Spirits at Alameda Point and a zoning change that will allow a restaurant, office or visitor serving business to be constructed at 2350 Harbor Bay Parkway. The council will also consider approval of a contract for a consultant who would conduct balloting among some Park Street and Webster Street businesses over whether to raise landscape and lighting district assessments.

ALAMEDA HEALTH CARE DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Alameda Health Care District Board of Directors meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 5 in the Dal Cielo Conference Room on the second floor of Alameda Hospital, 2070 Clinton Avenue.

On the agenda: The board will consider approval of a budget for the next six months and a contract for Alameda Hospital's nurses.

HISTORICAL ADVISORY BOARD

The Historical Advisory Board meets at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 6 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The board will consider approval of new street and facility names for the Alameda Landing development and also, whether to permit the city to cut down an Oak Tree at 1809 Grand Street, where a new emergency operations center and fire station are to be built.
