The Agenda: Ambulance transport, smart meters and more

CITY COUNCIL

The City Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 17 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The council will consider extending the Alameda Fire Department’s pilot basic life support ambulance transport program into a permanent service. The council will also consider implementing parking improvements that include signage and a smart meter program trial. The council will also consider raising garbage collection rates and approving the levy of assessments for the Marina Cove, Island Landscape and Lighting and Webster Street Business Improvement districts. The council will also consider collecting a list of delinquent fees via property tax bills and the introduction of an ordinance approving a lease on a portion of Building 25 at Alameda Point with Pacific Automated, LLP. The council will also consider approving appointments for various boards and committees and the mayor’s nominations for seats on the Transportation Commission.
