ALAMEDA HEALTH CARE DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Alameda Health Care District Board of Directors will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 1 in the Dal Cielo Conference Room on the second floor of Alameda Hospital, 2070 Clinton Avenue.

On the agenda: The board will consider approving audited financial statements for the 2013-14 fiscal year and also, Alameda Hospital's participating in the city's Fourth of July parade. The board will also consider signing off on insurance policies for board members and the district. The board will also consider authorizing collection of the health care district parcel tax and an indemnification agreement with Alameda County, and a budget for the 2015-16 fiscal year. The board will also consider approval of a letter of support for Alameda Health System's vision and overall strategy. The board will also consider granting approval to secure a corporate credit card and to move money from the City of Alameda Health Care Corporation and CW&S Investment Company.

ZONING ADMINISTRATOR

The Zoning Administrator will conduct a hearing at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 2 in Room 360 on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The Administrator will consider approving a use permit amendment allowing the Churchward Pub to expand to the second floor of the Park Street building it occupies.

CITY COUNCIL

The City Council will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 2 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue. The City Council and the Successor Agency to the Community Improvement Commission will hold a joint meeting at 7:01 p.m. Tuesday, June 2 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The council will consider an update to the city’s water reduction plan and will also consider approving a contract for $424,752.61 with Taser International for 80 body cameras for police and the use of a digital evidence management system. The council will also consider Mayor Trish Herrera Spencer’s recommendations for boards and commissions. The council and the successor agency will consider adopting city and successor agency budgets for the fiscal years 2015-16 and 2016-17 and also, a Proposition 4 appropriations limit for 2015-16.
