BOARD OF EDUCATION

The Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 12 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The board will hear a presentation from AT&T regarding its cell phone towers at Maya Lin and Will C. Wood schools and another from staff outlining details of the district's cell tower contracts with carriers. The board will also consider approval of contracts for an interim superintendent and interim human resources chief. The board will also consider a referral from member Niel Tam seeking board consensus to ask the district's general counsel to review what the Brown Act permits board members to say at community meetings.
