PLANNING BOARD

The Planning Board meeting scheduled for Monday, January 12 has been canceled.

BOARD OF EDUCATION

The Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 13 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The board will consider permitting district staff to issue $75 million in bonds to fund school construction projects. The board will also review a bond project schedule and consider approving a list of projects to be completed over the summer. The board will also receive reports on Measure A parcel tax expenditures, planned community meetings and information gathered regarding the future of high schools in Alameda, the teacher of the year launch for 2014-15 and the California School Boards Association’s annual conference.

GOLF COMMISSION

The Golf Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 13 in Conference Room 360 on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The commission will receive written and oral reports on the Chuck Corica Golf Complex.

LIBRARY BOARD

The Library Board is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, January 14 in Conference Room 224 on the second floor of the main library, 1550 Oak Street.
