SOCIAL SERVICE HUMAN RELATIONS BOARD

The Social Service Human Relations Board meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 1 in Conference Room 360 on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The board will review and make recommendations on a spending plan for federal Community Development Block Grant money for local social service organizations.

CITY COUNCIL

The City Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 1 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The council will consider reappointing Fayleen Allen, Cullen Jones and Stuart Rickard to the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners. The council will also consider a seven-year lease of 1800 Ferry Point on Alameda Point to Navigation Systems and new rules that would make it easier for seniors and disabled people to modify homes to meet their needs. The council will also consider taking the preliminary steps needed to levy marketing and maintenance assessments on businesses in the Park Street business district.

CIVIL SERVICE BOARD

On the agenda: The board will consider accepting an activity report for the period of December 1, 2013 to February 28, 2014.

AMERICA’S CUP AD HOC COMMITTEE

The America’s Cup Ad Hoc Committee meets at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 3 in Conference Room 391 on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Aveue.

HISTORICAL ADVISORY BOARD

The Historical Advisory Board meets at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The board will consider granting a certificate of approval to the owners of 1315 Mound Street, who is seeking to raise the building 18 inches to make the basement habitable and also, to create a uniform roof line. The board will also consider granting a certificate of approval to developer Tim Lewis Communities, permitting the developer to restore and modify the Del Monte warehouse, which is an historic monument. The board will also consider approval of a wayfinding sign plan for Alameda Point.
