OPEN GOVERNMENT COMMISSION

The Open Government Commission meets at 7 p.m. Monday, October 6 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The commission will consider a list of potential changes to Alameda’s Sunshine Ordinance.

ALAMEDA HEALTH CARE DISTRICT BOARD

The Alameda Health Care District Board is scheduled to meet on Monday, October 6 in the Dal Cielo Conference Room on the second floor of Alameda Hospital, 2070 Clinton Avenue.

ZONING ADMINISTRATOR

The Zoning Administrator will conduct a hearing at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 7 in Conference Room 360 on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The administrator will consider an application submitted by PK Consultants permitting construction of a 382-square-foot deck and 201-square-foot addition within the required 20-foot setback from San Francisco Bay at a property at 508 Central Avenue.

CITY COUNCIL

The City Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 7 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The council will adopt a resolution thanking former Alameda Housing Authority Executive Director Michael T. Pucci for his contributions to the city. The council will also consider Alameda Point leases for Watertight Restoration, Inc., and Steeltown Winery, LLC, for portions of Building 43 at 2440 Monarch Street.

RECREATION AND PARK COMMISSION

The Recreation and Park Commission meets at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 9 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The commission will review and make recommendations on a proposed design for a Cross Alameda Trail segment that stretches from Main Street to Webster Street and on a 2015 Alameda Recreation and Park Department user fee schedule. The commission will also conduct a design review for the Krusi Park Recreation Center and receive an update on Jean Sweeney Open Space Park.
