PUBLIC UTILITIES BOARD

The Public Utilities Board meets at 7 p.m. Monday, August 18 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The board will consider accepting a report finding that energy storage systems are not currently viable or cost-effective for Alameda Municipal Power. The board will also receive a presentation on cyber security systems from Bruce Gordon, vice president of sales and marketing for N-Dimension Solutions Inc.

SOCIAL SERVICE HUMAN RELATIONS BOARD

The Social Service Human Relations Board is holding a special meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 19 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

On the agenda: The board will hold an election for officers and receive progress reports on a homeless count project and recognition of volunteers. The board will also consider sponsorship of domestic violence awareness month activities.
