Ferry terminal closure: San Francisco Bay Ferry is shutting down its Main Street terminal this weekend to relocate the terminal’s ferry dock and install new passenger gangways. The terminal will be shut down Saturday and Sunday and is set to reopen at 5 a.m. Monday. The ferry service is encouraging passengers to board at the Jack London Square terminal at 10 Clay Street in Oakland; free validated parking is available at the Washington Street Garage in Jack London Square, at 101 Washington Street. The $450,000 project is being funded by Alameda County’s Measure B sales tax for transportation.

Bus service changes: AC Transit has announced “modest service increases” it’s attributing to an improved financial situation and ridership figures. The changes went into effect on Sunday. The list includes enhanced All Nighter service an extension of Line 800 from Richmond BART into San Francisco, to the 24th Street/Mission BART station in San Francisco. The bus service will make one change in Alameda: Line 663 between Broadway and Blanding Avenue and Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway and Third Street will leave the East End seven minutes later in the morning, starting at 7:11 a.m. Additional information is available on AC Transit’s website.

Stop closure: AC Transit announced a temporary closure of its Oakland-bound stop on Webster Street at Buena Vista Avenue. The stop, which serves lines 20, 31, 51A, 314, 851, O, and W, is being closed indefinitely for construction. Passengers are advised to board at regular stops on Webster Street at Lincoln Avenue and Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway.
