FYI, the map's locator for Mapes Ranch is placed incorrectly and is also incorrect about the property's status.

The property is the triangular property at the foot of the Miller-Sweeney Bridge, the map indicates its mid-Fernside district.

There is no development approved and waiting to happen. A couple of years ago, the city approved the subdivision of the property, but no proposal for building on any of the lots has been submitted or approved.

Currently it's 11 vacant lots owned by an individual with no submitted or presented plans for development. The city hasn't heard from the owner since the subdivision occurred. This same individual has owned the land for years, has made a variety of inquiries and requests over the years, but has never submitted plans for beginning to build anything.

Hi JKW: Thanks much, I will fix the locator and confirm that info with the planning department.
