Election 2014 fundraising

UPDATE: We've passed our $1,000 fundraising goal! Thanks to Aidan Barry, Karen Butter, Vicki Sedlack and Chuck Kapelke for pushing us over the line!

Last week we reached out to ask you to help us get Election 2014 covered. And we’re excited to say that we’re more than two-thirds of the way to our $1,000 fundraising goal.

Thanks so much to Earleen Hamlin, Neil Gilfedder, Sue Trowbridge, James Davis, Jim Lovell, Richard Hausman, Suzanne Lindsey, Patsy Baer, Christopher Clifford and Isadora Alman for helping us make our plans to cover the November 4 election a reality.

If you want to ensure detailed reporting on who’s running, how they’d vote on the issues they’ll confront if elected, what their track record has been on major local issues and who’s paying for their campaigns, you can support us by by contributing online through the Alameda Community News Project’s fiscal sponsor, Community Initiatives, or by sending a check to Community Initiatives (with Alameda Community News Project in the register), 354 Pine Street Suite 700, San Francisco, CA 94104.

Thanks for your support, and we’re looking forward to Election 2014!
