Alamedan Staff

Want more Alameda news? We'd love to keep providing it for you - but we need your help.

If you'd like the latest news on what's developing on the Island and at City Hall, in the local arts scene, Island businesses and more, we hope you'll consider supporting The Alamedan today.

The Alamedan has provided local news coverage free of charge since 2012, because we think it’s important for our community to be well informed. But reporting the news costs money. If you share our belief that an informed community is a strong community and you value the work we’ve been doing here, we hope you’ll consider supporting our effort to keep things going with a tax-deductible contribution.

Supporting The Alamedan is easy. You can make a one-time or monthly contribution online or by sending a check to our fiscal sponsor, Community Initiatives (with Alameda Community News Project in the register) at 354 Pine Street Suite 700, San Francisco, Calif. 94104. A $35 contribution covers a month of web hosting, while $100 pays for a news story and photo. A $500 contribution would cover a whole week of news.

Thanks for reading, and for helping us continue to provide you local news when you need it!
